Over the last several years, Credo has studied the basic composition of Canadian Financial advisors’ books of business. In this research brief we review the changes that we have observed between 2011 and 2012. We also discuss how advisors plan on using different types of products in the future. This research is based on a combination of highly structured survey-based research with a representative sample of more than 1,000 advisors annually and qualitative interviews that Credo conducts with advisors of all types across the country.
